Camel Ride to La Palmeraie
According to legend, this area was the site of a military camp, where, in the evening, soldiers ate dates that had been brought from pre-Saharan oases. The discarded peels fell into the holes left by the spears that had been thrown into the ground and so the palm groves of Marrakech were planted. Wearing your "cheich" (protective turban), you and your new camel friend will walk safely through the palm groves and Berber houses. At the end of the activity, free time to have a refreshing glass of mint tea at the home of one of the local Berber families before returning to the city.
TIMETABLE
MORNING: departure at 9:00 and return to Marrakech at approximately 12:00.
AFTERNOON: departure at 2:00 pm and return to Marrakech at approximately 5:00 pm.
